KMA (Kenya Muslim Academy) is one of the flagship education projects by the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM) which began in 1994. The school continued to perform well until the late 2000's when it registered a drop in it's mean score.

SUPKEM advertised for professional muslim educationalists in 2009 and the new management took over in 2010.

Since then the school has continued to perform extremely well in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary education. The school's mean score has shot up from 4.6 in 2010 to 7.4 to 8.04 with 98% of the students attaining a mean score of C+ and above. The school has further undergone tremendous positive transformation in terms of discipline, academic and student conduct.
